I am glad you are reading this. You are probably feeling overwhelmed by this whole process, but at least you have taken the first steps! The next step is finding a tele-mental health therapist that is a good fit for you.
For starters, go to my calendar to find a time convenient for you and schedule a free consultation. If there is no time available please contact me to set up a time.
The first session will be a "get to know each other" appointment. It's where we take the time to answer any questions you may have, we figure out how best I may help you, and we go over the procedures involved in therapy - such as confidentiality, office policies, etc.
No, you sure don't. Prior to your appointment, you will receive a unique link for your session via email. All you need is a microphone and a camera, which is conveniently built into most cell phones these days. Click on that link you receive and that's it!
I do not currently accept insurance. I can provide a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company if you have out of network coverage. Basically, I provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Unfortunately, even if you don't use your benefits, due to the strict policies, you must seek a therapist that accepts Medicaid.
I do offer reduced rates on an individual basis. I have reserved a few slots for those truly in need of accessible care. Please ask about a reduced rate if needed.
